Brewing LPA monitored

A Low Pressure Pressure Area (LPA) is forecast to develop within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

According to PAGASA Weather Forecaster Meno Mendoza, the LPA may develop in Mindoro area between tonight and Monday and affect Luzon areas.

Meanwhile, another shallow LPA was spotted 1,335 kilometers east of Aparri, Cagayan. It is not forecast to intensify into a tropical cyclone nor affect the county.

Habagat continues to bring rains today. MIMAROPA and Western Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms. In Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, and the rest of Visayas, partly cloudy to cloudy skies prevail only with isolated rains or thunderstorms. Mindanao, Northern, and Central Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers.
